I cannot believe how fast this year is going! How is it already August? July blinked! Overall, it was a fairly good month. Lots of show were released, San Diego Comic Con happened (had major fomo), and used some amazing products. Here are all of my July favourites!
This is Beautycounter’s new anti-aging regime. The safer alternative to retinol. Their retinatural complex is derived from 2 powerhouse plants bakuchiol and Swiss Alpine rose. The regime consists of a cleansing oil, essence, serum, day, night and eye creams. Out of all 5, I really love the essence. I do have to say that my skin is so much smoother and I’ve been using it everyday since I got it in the beginning of the month.
The new season of Stranger Things came out of the 4th of July. You bet I binged that season. I watched about 5 episodes the first day and finished the last 3 the next day. I really do not want to give away any spoilers for those who have not had a chance to watch it yet. My favourite scenes were definitely with Dustin, Steve, Robin and Erica.
So I almost didn’t add this after how the season ended. I love Veronica Mars. So damn much. When it was announced it was coming back, I was thrilled. The new season itself was amazing. Except the last 5 minutes. I’m going to pretend that it never happened and if they come back with a new season, I probably won’t watch it unless they decide that it was dream. Fingers crossed.
This was actually suppose to be in my June favourites but completely forgot to add it in. These drops are amazing. No wonder they are a fan favourite. You add drops to your moisturizer to apply, making it super easy to use without getting a streaky result. Love it so much!
So this was the very first Voir product I wanted to try. I had bought the studio set so I could get all 4 of their products. Dry shampoo isn’t something I use a lot of so many of the other products became favourites first. I love that it’s spray without aerosol. The powder blends seamlessly.
This also was suppose to be in my June favourites. I bought this because I needed a new foundation until I became tan enough to use my summer shade. It is light to medium coverage that has a blend of botanicals to help nourish the skin. Aloe, jojoba, rosehip and marula oils to help soothe, tame redness and plump fine lines.
What have you been loving in July?
