Well what a hell of a month March has been. All of us basically being stuck in our houses because of the Coronavirus. I really hope this all ends soon because I don’t know how much more I can take. My March favourites mostly consist of lipsticks. 4 lipsticks to be more accurate. But there is also a blush and a candle!
Chantecaille Hummingbird Lip Chic Lip Gloss in Coral Bell
In my clean beauty lipsticks post, I had mentioned that Chantecaille was one of the brands I wanted to try. Recently I picked up the lip chic at Nordstrom. Even though lip gloss is in the name, I wouldn’t consider it a gloss. It is a super hydrating lightweight formula that offers a sheer coverage. The formula also contains hyaluronic acid for plumping looking lips. I have the colour coral bell and it is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for spring and summer. It’s also the shade I wore while I was in L.A. visiting Caitlin.
Give ‘Em Colour Intense Lipsticks in The Fuchsia is Clean and B. Fearless
For International Women’s Day, Beautycounter released 3 limited edition colours in limited edition packaging designed by a Portland, OR artist. I’m already a big fan of the colour intense lipstick and was super excited when these were released. I bought 2 of the 3 shades- The Fuchsia is Clean and B. Fearless. Both shades are gorgeous and they last so long.
Colour Pinch Cream Blusher in Hibiscus
Lately, I’ve been a big fan of cream products. I have dry skin and I feel like cream products sit better on my skin. This is my first cream blush and I absolutely love it. It gives a natural, dewy finish while also hydrating the skin. You can also use it on the your lips and lids as well.
Madame Gabriela Lipstick in Paris at 7pm
Back in December, Madame Gabriela so kindly sent me one of their lipsticks Paris at 7pm. Madame Gabriela is a clean beauty brand that is ingredient driven. The lipstick is made with manuka honey, avocado oil, vitamin e and a lot of other good ingredients. I like to call this lipstick my French girl lipstick.
Vancouver Candle Co Yorkville Candle
When I was in Toronto back in November, the hotel we stayed at had this candle for sale. I almost bought it but I knew I was planning on buying a Canada Goose jacket and didn’t want to spend anymore money. While I was there back in February, my friend and I were going to drive right past the hotel so I decided to stop and buy it. I’m so glad I did because this candle smells amazing. It’s part of the Toronto Neighbourhood Collection.
This show has been on my watch list for awhile now. It probably isn’t the best time to start watching this but I started it before this planet went to shit. It’s basically about a virus that takes over the world and kills most of the planet. The main guy Cole is from the future and comes back to try to stop it. So good!
What have you been loving in March?
