This self-isolation is hard on all of this. But it’s something we all need to do to keep everyone safe and flatten the curve. With all of us being stuck inside is the perfect time for us to work on our skin. That way by the time we are all done with this we will have glowing skin.
Getting enough sleep can help reduce stress, help your mood and improve your immune system. Since we are all in self-isolation it is the perfect time to sleep in.
Do A Hair Mask
We have all this time right now being stuck inside so now is a perfect time to do a hair mask. Normally I do a hair mask in the shower and only keep it on 5-10 minutes. Now is the perfect time to do a hair mask for 30 minutes to an hour.
I know so many people struggle to drink enough water. Drinking water can help with digestion, mood and skin. Fill up some water bottles and set a goal for how much you want to drink.
Get up and get moving to get your blood pumping. Working out will also help relieve stress. You’ll feel so much better afterwards too.
Start A Skincare Routine
Getting into a good skincare routine while we are in isolation will leave your skin glowy and gorgeous by the time you are able to go back to work.
I get so stressed and anxious over clutter and mess. This is a great time to declutter and finish all of those projects we’ve started around the house.
Do Something You’ve Been Putting Off
Like I mentioned above this is a great time to finish things that we’ve started. Now is also a great time to start things we always say we don’t have time for. Start that new hobby, or that book that you bought and have never read. Reach out to an old friend, etc.
Be The Best You
I know this is an extremely difficult time for us. I’ve definitely had some very tough days where all I want to do is cry. But we should see this as a blessing in disguise to give us all the self-care that we need in order for us to become our best selves.
Hang in there, we will get through this! And we will all come out of it with glowing skin!
