As much as I love cooking and baking, I do love an easy recipe. This naan recipe is only 3 ingredients, 4 if you count the garlic powder, and is grain free and vegan. Perfect if you follow the candida diet. I also love sprinkling some vegan mozzarella on top of it as well. But of course that is completely optional. I really like this vegan mozzarella recipe. It’s super easy to make too.
Makes about 6
- 1 cup canned coconut milk (go for the full fat)
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup tapioca flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove of garlic, minced (optional)
- Whisk all ingredients together.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a medium head skillet. Cook for 1.5-2 minutes on each side.
*If you want to add vegan cheese, add it on top before you flip it.
Enjoy! I love eating the naan with curry or tikka masala. Great substitute if you cannot eat rice. You could also use it as bread and make a grilled cheese. There’s a restaurant near me that has a naan grilled cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Since I cannot eat anymore, I can make my own!
