Pink and Navy Outfit
Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s so crazy how fast this year is going by. We are already half way through February. If you remember a couple of weeks ago when I was talking about sustainable materials, I mentioned some of my sustainable brands. This pink and navy outfit, top and bottoms are both from some of my favourite sustainable brands, Everlane and Sézane.
This blouse from Sézane is darling. You can’t really tell since my hair is blocking the collar in most pictures (good thing I plan on restyling), but it has an adorable peter pan collar with an ivory contrasting band. The sleeves also have the same ivory details with a curved cuff. It’s the cuffs and the collar that really make the blouse. Otherwise it would just be a boring pink blouse. Though there is nothing wrong with a plain blouse/shirt. I own plenty of those.
As for the pants, they are Everlane’s side zip work pant. I also own them in black and have styled them on here multiple times. Recently, I decided to get them in navy since everyone should own a good pair of navy trousers. Personally, I love pink and navy blue together and I wanted to mix it up instead of pair this top with my black pair. Like my black pair, I got these navy trousers in the ankle length, because short girl problems. They fit me so well. I also want to get them in the houndstooth!
When it comes to clothing, I pretty much own everything for a capsule/staple wardrobe. But when it comes to shoes, I am lacking. I realized I didn’t own any navy shoes. I got these mules for another outfit that I will be sharing soon. And while styling this outfit, I really liked them with this look as well. They are super comfy. I did have to size up to a 7 because of the pointed toe. One of my goals this year is to finish my shoe capsule wardrobe. If you want me to do a post on a shoe capsule wardrobe, let me know!
Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and weekend!
