How is it already 2020? 2019 literally flew by. December also flew by as well. I was so busy in December that I’m not even sure where the month went! There aren’t that many favourites for this month especially since I’m grouping 3 of them together. Here are my December favourites.
I’ve been wanting to try Innersense for awhile but wanted to wait until I finished up my current hair care products. Luckily, I started to get low when Credo and Detox Market were having sales so I picked up some products. I purchased the I Create Lift Volumizing Foam, I Create Finish, and I Create Hold. My waves have never looked so good before and they last so long as well. I’m very lazy when it comes to my hair and I only wash my hair once a week. After showering, I apply my Voir hair oil, then the Playa sea salt spray followed by the Innersense Foam and Gel. Then I’ll plop my hair for the night and use the I Create Finish in the morning. If you only want to try one of the 3, I’d recommend the volumizing foam!
Oh Becky Brandon is up to her shenanigans again just in time for the holiday season. I love the Shopaholic series. I’ve been reading them since middle school. Isn’t that insane? In this book, Becky is in charge of Christmas for the very first time and everything that can go wrong, goes wrong.
Coal & Canary Chunky Knit Sweater Candle
I discovered Coal & Canary when I was in ShopEco in Windsor, were I got my Nuud deodorant and my makeup brush cleaner. When I was in Toronto, I smelled this candle at The Bay but didn’t buy it since I knew I was going to be buying a Canada Goose Parka. Over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, they had a really great sale and I ended up buying it. This candle smells soooo good. Actually all of their candles smell amazing.
Canada Goose Parka
Last winter, I had made the decision to invest in a Canada Goose Parka. When the time came after doing more research, I was deciding between Canada Goose, Moose Knuckles and Nobis. My plan was always to buy the jacket when I was in Canada. While I was in Toronto for the Christmas Market, I tried on all 3 jackets. A lot of the Moose Knuckles has a lot of hardware which I was not a fan of, but there was one that I actually liked but it was over $200 more than the Canada Goose jacket I tried on. Nobis was really nice but the length of the jacket that I wanted had 4 huge pockets and they looked weird on my petite body. In the end, I chose the Canada Goose. With the exchange rate, I ended up saving $400. And with my American Express, I had the opportunity to choose 0% interest monthly payments. If AMEX didn’t offer that, there is no way I would be able to afford this jacket. This jacket is so warm and is the last winter jacket I ever plan on buying.
