Cashmere is one of the best sustainable materials out there. What I love about it, is that it’s super soft and warm, yet thin enough for layering. Cashmere can be pricy but I see it as an investment since it can last years. I actually have a cashmere cardigan that was my grandma’s that is still in excellent condition.
As you know, I own a lot of cashmere. One of my favourite places to buy it is Everlane. Not only is Everlane an ethical brand, their prices are extremely reasonable. All of my cashmere sweaters from them were $100, which might seem like a lot but I get so much use out of them. I live in Michigan, I basically live in winter clothes for 8 months out of the year. Most of my sweaters from Everlane happen to be crew necks but I had been wanting to get a v-neck. And out of all the colours that they come in, loden was my absolute favourite in this style. The other ones just didn’t stand out to me. Love them in the crew necks though. It’s strange how you can like a colour of something in one style but not the other.
