Ultimate Fall Outfit
This is probably one of my most fall outfit and pictures to date! The outfit screams fall but so does the location. The red barn, fence and straw really help with the aesthetic. This location is also on the property where my photographer is renting out a building for her studio. The options for pictures is endless and I cannot wait to explore more of the property.
First of all, do you know how hard it is to find semi reasonably priced sweaters that don’t contain polyester or acrylic? It’s not super difficult but it also isn’t easy. My sweater is from Madewell and is 100% cotton. And I know cotton isn’t always the best because it does use chemicals unless you can find organic, which is something I will eventually switch completely over to but one step at a time. But this cotton is sweater is part of Madewell’s Do Well campaign where they partner with the Better Cotton Initiative to improve cotton farming globally. When I got the sweater, I really wanted to pair this wool scarf with it. I got it a few years ago from & Other Stories and it’s been a staple in my fall and winter wardrobes.
My hat is from Lack of Color. As many of you know, I love to wear hats. I’ve been wanting to try Lack of Color for awhile but the price tag always scared me away. I wasn’t even searching for this hat in particular. Just looking for a littler colour hat to go with this outfit. Luckily for me, this hat was on sale and there was Afterpay. I now understand why people rave about this brand of hats so much. It’s really nice. Now I’m not sure I would still pay full price though, unless I really loved it, but most likely would wait for a sale. Do you own a Lack of Color hat?
