Ways to Spark Joy
It seems like finding things that spark joy has become a very popular hobby (Thank you Marie Kondo). But don’t worry, I’m not going to talk about material items that spark joy and how you should get rid of all the items that don’t. These tips are all about sparking joy in your life!
Say You’re Sorry
Holding a grudge can cause a lot of stress on our bodies and cause harm to our heart and mind. I know it might be hard for us to apologize, especially if we are feeling hurt. But releasing that anger will release a huge weight off our chests.
Wear What You Love
Wear what makes you feel confident and that you love wearing. It can be anything as long as it makes you happy to walk with your chin held up high. It can be something as simple as a tee and jeans or something a little more fancier like a dress. As long as you’re happy, it doesn’t matter what you wear.
Live In The Present
It is so important to live in the present and to be mindful with what is going on around you. Not only will this help with stress, you will feel so much better too!
Listen To Your Heart
We get so caught up in what’s going on in our heads that we forget to listen to our emotional selves. This is a good time to write down your thoughts and feelings to see if they match. Choosing for follow your heart, you will gain strength from what you love. When you are faced with a decision, you may come up with a lot of logical answers and reasons but if you listen and trust your heart no matter how illogical it may seem, it’s usually right and you’ll end up much happier.
Choosing to be happy and talking positive no matter how your day is going is one way to spark joy. When choosing happiness, your choice can lead to a domino effect on how everything else is going to react. The more you choose happiness, the more you’ll find it all around you.
