So we have gone over how to find your body shape and how to dress it. But now I want to discuss on what colours go best with your skin tone. I want you to look your best and find the colour that flatters you the most.
Best Colours For Your Skin Tone
If you have ivory skin, the best colours to wear are cool blues and blue-greens.
People with olive skin tones should wear bright pinks and fuchsias! It creates a great glow on your skin. If you are more of a yellow under toned olive skin, berry and wine tones look the best.
All blush colours flatters women who are more in the neutral skin tone range. A neutral base does not contain any noticeable pink and yellow undertones.
Fair skin with more of a dusky undertone compliments colours of lavender, lilac and other purples with more cooler undertones.
Corals and peaches go great if with skin tones that have warm, golden undertones. If you are more natural with warm undertones, opt for more neural colours like tans, browns, khaki’s and sand. Now if you are more of a honey, terra-cota, oranges, apricot and creamy whites will look amazing against your skin.
Dark skin tones look best with jewel tones. Think turquoise and amethyst and even ruby! If you are more of a deeper skin tone, you can also wear jewel tones but it’s nice to have a contrast of whites and cool aquas.
Just because your skin tone doesn’t match the shade you want to wear doesn’t mean you can’t! If you love a colour and you feel confident in it, go for it! But I hope this post has helped you if you were at a loss at what you look good in.
