Hour February 2018

Every February, the issue of Hour is always a bridal one. I absolutely love how this shoot came out! Granted this shoot was crazy. The night before we had a crazy snow storm. I had gone to the Wings game the night before and it took 2 hours to get downtown when it should take about 40-45 minutes. We shot this shoot in the Peacock Room inside the Fisher Building downtown. Because of the snow, I gave myself an hour and a half in the morning since I knew I would be driving just before rush hour.

I was one of the first there. And it took forever just to unload my car. Then we had to carry all the dresses upstairs. The next morning, I woke up feeling like I ran a marathon. Anyway, this shoot went late. We were suppose to be done by 5pm and I didn’t end up leaving until 8 PM. We are never done that late. Usually, we are done by the time we are supposed to be. Mind you, this is the time I was non-stop for a solid 8 days. And this was only the second day!

Now I do want to talk about the dress for the Grand Entrance. Isn’t it gorgeous? I mean look at the beading! It’s also super heavy. I love it!

Then there is the lace train from the dress in Tailor-Made. I’ve worked with so many wedding dresses these past few years and I do love lace.

And did you see the back on the dress for In Detail? Gorgeous!

So this is my last editorial post for awhile since, we didn’t have any shoots in January. I know I have some for Weddings coming up but that issue doesn’t come out until June.
