I love a good faux fur vest for the winter! They can instantly warm up any outfit, unless it’s single digits outside. I found this faux fur vest by New Look while I was perusing the ASOS site. As soon as I saw it, an outfit idea popped in my head.
I wanted to keep this outfit simple, so I went for an all black look. My turtleneck is from J. Crew and it is seriously the warmest turtleneck I’ve ever owned. And it’s super soft. Perfect for those cozy days I know we are all having.
Now my boots! I know a lot of you have been telling me how much you love them on Instagram. I’ve been on the hunt for these for a while. They were basically all out of stock in my size on Nordstrom and not available on Sperry’s site. They did miraculously appear in a size 6 on Nordstrom’s site. I wish I would’ve bought them but I wasn’t sure I’d be able to put my foot in them.
A few days later, while I was out shopping for a commercial shoot at Nordstrom Rack, I saw them down the size 9 shoe aisle! I got super excited and kept my fingers crossed that they would be available in my size. Luckily they were available in a size 7. They are big on me I don’t really care! I can wear super thick socks with them! Who knew that when I was out shopping for work, that I’d find these boots! These ones are super similar though!
I’ve seriously have been getting so many compliments on them! From people I don’t even know too! When we were in Toronto for New Year’s, strangers even commented on them!
However, they are not good if you have a lot of snow! I swear it’s been snowing like crazy in Michigan and with the snow all powdery and high, I would advise not to wear these and go for a taller boot, like my Sorels. Have any of you been getting a lot of snow?
I’m seriously jealous of all of you who live in warmer climates. I need to plan a trip someplace warm! I so sick of the cold already and we are still in the first week of January!
Happy Friday babes and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We will be attending Alex’s funeral tomorrow. It’s going to be sad but honestly, I’m glad he is no longer in pain.
Love you all!
