Hey guys!!! I feel like I haven’t had an outfit post in forever! All those damn gift guides and sale posts! Seriously I cannot wait for the holiday season to be over! Anyways, growing up, I went to a Catholic school, so that meant wearing a uniform. Weekends, dress up days and jeans days were my outlet. I wore whatever I want, even if it was out of the norm. Even today I still wear what I want. Honestly, I don’t care what people think. Even if I am walking around wearing a faux fur coat.
We shot this look in downtown Birmingham and I did get quite a few stares, most of them by older men too. I love this outfit a lot but this is not something I’d wear day to day. You normally don’t see people walking around in a blush faux fur coat. Personally, I think this outfit would be good for an evening out, a holiday party, New Years Eve, etc.
The velvet top that I am wearing underneath, is so cute and is perfect for everyday wear. No one would bat an eyelash if I wore this outfit around town sans the faux fur coat! Crazy people I tell you!

I think I’ve grown up a lot over the years. When I was younger and people would stare, I’d get super uncomfortable. I was a shy child. But the thing was, I’d get over it and remember not to let other people bother me about the way I dressed.
Now as a fashion blogger, I really shouldn’t care what people think and I try not to play the comparison game with others. I will happily wear what I want and no one can do anything about it!
Has there been a time where you’ve felt uncomfortable in public with what you were wearing? Let me know!
