A few months back, I did a post on my morning skincare routine and I had promised I would post my night time skincare routine. It’s taken so long since I wasn’t really a fan of the face wash I was using nor did I have a night cream.
Anyways, I finally have a good skincare routine that I like. It recently changed because the weather really messed up my skin. From going to hot to cold in a flash, my skin got super sensitive and flaky. Which is not fun!
My Night Time Skincare Routine
Step 1: Beautycounter Rejuvenating Facial Cleanser
After my last face wash, I’ve been looking for a new one. I recently purchased Beautycounter’s Rejuvenating Facial Cleanser. It smells really nice and is super creamy. The only downfall I have is that the lid is a twist top. I’d prefer either a flip top or pump. Other than that, I love it.
Step 2: Jojoba Oil
This is basically me doing a double cleanse. Usually I use my micellar water but it’s been burning my skin. I think in a double cleanse you are suppose to do the oil first but I’m doing it second. I put a tiny drop of Jojoba oil in the palm of my hands and wash my face for the second time. You do not need a lot, a little bit goes a long ways! I will probably eventually change this the the Beautycounter Cleansing Balm and their Eye Makeup Remover.
Step 3: Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery
The Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery has been part of my routine for a while now. It has even made it’s way into my favourites. Out of all the serums I have used in the past, this is definitely my favourite. When I use alone, I wake up to my skin looking so fresh and hydrated.
Step 4: Tula Multi-Spectrum Eye Renewal Serum
Now this Tula Eye Serum has been in my favourites as well and I also did a full review on it. It’s also part of my morning skincare routine. My favourite part of the this serum is the cool metal tip. Unfortunately, my tip broke off so I have to push the serum out and then use the tip. I swear my eyes look so much healthier.
Step 5: Beautycounter Nourishing Night Cream
I have been looking for a good silicone free night cream for a while now! Do you know how many night creams have silicone in them? A lot! I don’t like super thick night creams, it makes me feel like I have a bunch of goop on me. This Beautycounter Nourishing Night Cream is light enough that it doesn’t feel like that but it’s thick enough to keep my skin moisturized.
I am also giving away a Beautycounter Nourishing Night Cream as well! Enter down below!
I really hope you enjoyed my night time skincare routine. My routine usually changes with each season, especially with the weather changes. Plus I am always up for trying new products!
