Review: Boots Botanics Softening Cleanser
I was actually really excited to try this Boots Botanics Softening Cleanser with Rosehip. I love the Boots Botanics All Bright Micellar Water. It’s one of my favourite skincare products and I generally love the Boots Botanics brand.
I’ve got to say, that I am slightly aghast in it. First of all, I do not like the smell. I think it smells like a household cleaner. Maybe it’s the rosehip, but I’ve used other products with rosehip so I don’t think it’s that, but I don’t really no.
Besides, the way it smells, I think it cleans my face okay. The consistency is fine and is creamy. Sometimes I think it leaves my face slightly greasy, other times, I think it feels moisturized. Maybe it depends on how much of the cleanser I’m using? I will say my face is softer after I use it!
After the Mario Badescu face wash, I was really hoping to find a face wash that I truly love. And I honestly thought I did. Overall, the face is fine but I will not be repurchasing.
Anyways, I am now in the market for a new face wash, any recommendations? Boots does carry other face washes that I am willing to try as well!
