Clearing My Head

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just like to take walks in the woods to clear my head. Being alone in nature really helps.

A lot of the time, I bring one of the dogs, usually Bridgette.

The past few weeks have my quite stressful. Things are going on with my mom and Bridgette’s kidney failure has been getting worse.

She doesn’t want to eat, not even her timbit from Tim Hortons! Jodie and I took her to the vet on Monday and her blood levels rose a significant amount in the last month that our vet wanted her to stay the night.

Besides eating, Bridgette is still the same active 14 year old puppy who loves going on car rides and walks.

But just thinking about how fast she’s going downhill makes me want to cry.

Walking in the woods really does help me clear my head. I’m usually alone with my own thoughts and I try to figure them out. Sometimes, I’ll sit on one of the benches and either meditate or focus on my breathing.

So much has been going on in my head lately that I just want to get my thoughts straight. That’s one of the main reasons why I started my blog, a way for me to share my feelings and my creative juices!

My life is far from perfect but I am trying to enjoy the little things in life that bring me small spurts of happiness. I love what I do for work but I wish I had more jobs to do. My work is freelance for some amazing companies but usually there is only one gig a month. I can’t survive off of that. But I always love the outcome of the photo or commercial shoots, knowing that I helped with that

Sorry, this was a bit more personal then I planned on it being.
